Zazo: How is DJing going on raunak? any new party you are going to hit these days?
Raunak: yup..i hav a long list in ma hand………………..der r many parties n eventz
Zazo: Raunak please tell us from the start, when you started DJing, how its started and what is your family background etc.
Raunak: A child prodigy who started at young in this entertainment circuit in ma early teens has proved to be this generations most adorable & wanted DJ.
Apart from this i hav touched heart & souls through ma performance. i hav vowed that through ma Music will surely touch the hearts of million. i m also in constant experimentation and evolution, and constantly pushing boundaries of what the DJ can be…

Keeping in touch with the true rhythm of desi culture, Blending mixes of east and west, i had started stepping further to set a milestone in the field of remixz.
I make my own rule and i follow it, break it. Those who like my path they follow me..I make my own path to walk on it.. if any thing good or bad happens to me, i will be very happy as it was chosen/made by me …
There are thousands of faces behind me.. Sometime you find me loving and caring, sometime dominating, sometime rude.. I m very short temper but i become normal very soon.. If i love the person i can do any thing for his/her happiness.. But if i hate then its no way to get out… I never hate any one easily but i love ppl very easily… I believe in Tit-for-Tat Theory..
I have strong belief in Karma. If you will do bad will get worst. So never do any thing which hurts other.. Whatever God does he does for our betterment.. Its fruit of your bad Karma that you are unhappy.. So always do Good Karma to get rewards…
My nature is like water.. I can adjust in any environment.. Another feature of water is that it is a life supporting agent.. So i m like life supporting agent.. Water can also take your life.. So never ever play with me/water..
Air, Water and Fire are three key elements of life.. Respect these elements otherwise you will be in trouble.. Respect our Mother nature who give us food, shelter, etc.
There is Supreme Power “GOD” who make us do every thing.. So never curse GOD who created us.. I follow and respect every religion.. I go to Temple, Mosque, Church, Gurudwara, etc. I worship Shiva, I worship Allah.. My religion is Hinduism but i follow Humanity Religion.. It is superior than any other religion..
I work as a DJ and i m a great music hunk.. I m very funny person i always make people laugh.. But when i m Sad i find nobody beside me to share my felling.. :’(
This is only few point which is till discovered by me..
At the end i only want to say that.. Belive in God, do good Karma, Love everyone around you, respect our mother nature, and follow the religion of Humanity..

I m not rich guy ..I did part time job wen I was in class 9 due 2 sum financial problems..in morning I attend school n in after noon I was doin a part time job as a salesman…after dat I did jobs in gift item, surgical equipment ,motor parts ,crockery items,
gas partz (i can repair any gas oven)…den i learnt mobile repairing….I did try out in modeling 2 but u knw wat u need source 2 get a better profile in it..i got a chance in participate in dance bangla dance(mithun chakravarty as a judge) C/o boogie woogie
but i dint had time 4 rehearsal
Note:U CAN B A GOOD DJ IF U KNW ALL TYPE OF DANCE hip hop,salsa,western,etc
n i love 2 dance coz i knw every thing in dancing thats y i can read pplz mind wen dey r dancin ma mind clickz dat wat type of music d liked 2 get groove 2 so i giv dem dat type of music
ya in between all dis i kept on listen music more den12hr per dayz weneva i get free time
ri8 now ma dad is doin a job…still
n me djin n a small business coz dis is d time 2 earn money day n ni8

Zazo: Raunak how was your first experience of DJing professionally? Any nervousness that time?

no i don feel nevous coz i did many showz 4 example dance showz..in ma school dayz…
n ya i got ma first show on 31 dec i knw datz a big day.. n was spinin at parkstreet..heart of kolkata…..
Zazo: How you decided to choose music DJ as a full time profession? you know that its not so common to be a DJ and there are mix reactions from social circles..how much your family supported your decision?
Raunak: i chosen music DJ as a full time profession coz i was crazy after muzic frm ma age wen i was 5yr old ..slowly slowly i got 2 knw dat music is ma aim in lyf so “i shoot n it was goal”

ya i m very much thank full 2 ma family dat supported ma decision…ya let me tell u dat goin in dis profession i had 2 promise ma family dat i will not make any ill as well as bad habitz…so datz d reason ma family supported me.
Zazo: How and where did you learned DJing? please throw some light on the technical part of this profession.
Raunak: i learn ma self jus watchin other djz spinin..at ni8clubz,disc priva8 party etc..

if u r a starter u sud use remote player 4 example DENON 4500 n after dat u sud turn on 2 POINEER CDJ200 n……….jus go on usein big console example POINEER mk2 1000

Zazo: Raunak you know very well that DJing is not a long lasting profession because it has certain age limits to DJs, so what are your future plans?
Raunak: who said dat dj is it is not a long lasting profession n itz only certain age limitz u knw wat is dj Akeel, dj Suketu ,dj Whosane age…
dey r all 30+ infact dey r more older..
ma future plan is dat ..makin ma goalz more stronger n aim is dat 2 get a place in top rankin of world of djz…inshallah…
Zazo: What difference you found between an Indian and Western/European Djs?
Raunak: uk djz r d best coz d create new n new stuff in music. coz dey hav many new type of equipment n gearz so dey rock more den us .n ya some of d indian djz just copy them
Zazo: Can you give me a rough figure that how much a professional dj can earn yearly?
Raunak: professional dj can earn yearly well it dependz on d showz n eventz n sponsorz n sum spl dayz like 31dec 14 feb etc…so given u sum rough idea if it is 31 dec a pro dj can earn more den 40k aprox..n yearly/monthly if u spinin at ni8 clubz n disc den it dependz on ur publicity n personal relationship u can charge wateva u can..like 50k monthly or less.
Zazo: Who is your idol or the person who taught you or the one from whom you learnt a lot?
Raunak: ma idol itz a long list i just watch der videoz n learn more n more new stuff jus 4 example..
